Arjuns Film Daddy Put On The Backburner
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... The actor, who is playing Arun Gawli in the film, is heavily banking on it
Arjun Rampal’s career has been going downhill for a while now, with his last few releases not working at the box office. Understandably, the actor is depending on Mandar Dalvis Daddy to turn his luck.
Now, SpotboyE.com has exclusively learnt that the film, in which he plays the infamous Arun Gawli, has run into financial trouble and has been put on the backburner now.
A source said, “The first schedule is done but the second schedule is much delayed. We had all sensed that there was financial trouble right from the first schedule. Were waiting to know if they have shelved the project completely, so we can do some other film or if were going to ever resume the work on this project.”
We sent a text to Arjun but he did not reply. Ditto with Mandar.
Earlier, Arjun was reportedly in talks for a movie based on the Nanavati murder, a joint production between Pooja Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar. However, our sources have it that when he quoted 2 crore for the project, producers Pooja Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar decided to replace him with Ali Fazal.
Now, with Daddy in trouble, the Roy actor is looking at an empty slate with no film in hand.
